New Features and Products Announced at HubSpot’s INBOUND17

Nov 28, 2017 4:59:25 PM

Yes, INBOUND17 was packed with amazing speakers, great entertainment, and talking puppets. With so many fantastic speakers, it’s often difficult choosing which sessions you will attend. There is one, however, that I never miss – the HubSpot Product Spotlight, which features new products, services, and upgrades HubSpot plans to launch.

While there’s too much coming down the pipeline to list it all here, hopefully, this article will serve as a guide for some of the most exciting developments.

Content Strategy

Let’s begin with the tool Puma Creative is most excited about – Content Strategy, a feature designed to revolutionize our approach to Search Engine Optimization. Let’s face it, SEO has changed. It’s no longer just about keywords – it’s about topic clusters.

The Content Strategy tool allows users to generate a strategy, plan around topics that make sense for their site, and more efficiently execute their SEO initiatives via influential pillar pages. There are a ton of impressive features, and you should familiarize yourself with each one. You can do that here. The best part? It’s LIVE right now, so get to clustering today!

HubDB Innovation

HubDB allows you to build pages at scale – we’re talking hundreds and thousands of pages. Further, you can quickly update content via database integration. One of the most significant features, as explained by HubSpot’s VP of Product, Christopher O’Donnell, is no technical skills are required. This is great because it frees up your tech team to tackle even bigger challenges. Not to mention, it’s super fast -- nearly twice the speed obtained by the average North American CMS. When you combine this with the fact that HubSpot has officially partnered with Shopify, the possibilities are nearly endless.

All New HubSpot Sales Professional

This is the all-in-one sales toolkit you’ve been looking for. It can do almost anything you can think of, like: organizing every detail about your leads and customers through robust automation and management tools; saving your reps time and allowing them to work smarter via meetings, sequences, templates, and a deep inbox integration; and leveraging the power of machine learning, which helps bring your sales team the best leads through predictive lead scoring.

Conversations Coming to HubSpot CRM Free

Another exciting feature coming to HubSpot CRM Free is Conversations, a shared inbox that allows your team to engage in better conversations with your customers. The feature won’t be available until 2018, but if you’re already signed up for CRM Free, you’ll automatically receive the upgrade.

One of the most striking features of this product is how well connected it is to the rest of HubSpot, pulling in conversations from all messaging channels and allowing you to bring in any team member to a given thread. There’s also the ability to manage conversations at scale via the use of bots and automation rules. This is made possible, in part, by HubSpot’s recent acquisition of, which you can read more about here.

Customer Hub

Also coming in 2018 is the Customer Hub, a feature designed to assist you in providing the best customer service possible. Based on the Conversations framework, Customer Hub allows you to easily escalate everyday chats to a case worthy of special attention. It’s also packed with sophisticated knowledge center tools that will enable you to truly serve your customers.
