Get Energized at Inbound14!

Inbound Marketing's highlight event of the year is inching closer. Inbound#14 is just a little over two weeks away. Last week my colleague, George Delano, blogged about why you do NOT want to miss this!! Inbound13 was so influential - we can't even imagine how we might be inspired this year! One thing is certain though; each year Inbound grows and energizes our passion for what we do every day.

panoramic-inbound13What to Expect

So, this year - what can you expect from the largest inbound marketing conference in the country? There are no guarantees you'll love it - but we're super excited about Every. Single. One. of the keynotes this year! Check it out!

For four days, starting on September 15, no less than 160 speakers will talk on topics ranging from the specific lead generation to general motivational topics. They are highlighted by five keynote speakers: Martha Stewart, bestselling authors Simon Sinek, Malcolm Gladwell and Guy Kawasaki, and social activist Shiza Shahid.

Keynotes by WHO?!

Martha Stewart is perhaps best known for her television show and books. She will discuss her company, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia which reaches about 66 million customers each month via digital and traditional marketing channels.

Best known for his Concept of Why, Simon Sinek's TED talk on the subject has been the second most watched TED talk to date. He is a social activist and author who aims to teach leaders how to inspire their employees with positivity, and utilizes inbound marketing channels like his blog and social media to do so.

According to TIME magazine, Malcolm Gladwell is one of the 100 most influential people in the world. He has authored global bestsellers such as The Tipping Point, Blink and Outliers, in which he discusses social psychology influences in everyday life. BTW - have you read David and Goliath? Epic, we say!!
Guy-Kawasaki-and-Rachel-Cogar
Sometimes considered the father of evangelism marketing, Guy Kawasaki has converted regular customers into evangelists who spread the word about his brand both at Apple and now at Canva. He has authored 11 bestselling books on the subject, and will share his vast knowledge and enthusiasm at Inbound.
PS. Anyone remember Mr. Kawasaki speaking at the Inbound Marketing Summit at the Boston Sheraton a few years back about his book Enchantment? That's me - to the right of him - looking all googly-eyed! HA!!

Shiza Shahid
is the co-founder and CEO of the Malala Fund, an organization aiming to empower girls through education. She has been named one of TIME magazine's "30 under 30 World Changers," and will talk about her goal of creating a world where every girl reaches her true potential.

And There's Still More!

But the beauty of inbound is that it's about more than just listening to others speak. The over 7,000 attendees can attend over 170 educational sessions, participating in workshops that help bring their inbound marketing strategies to the next level. Employees and executives from all industries attend inbound, making it a great networking opportunity as well.

inbound13-crowd-shotAnd HubSpot, the organizer of the yearly conference, ensures that there will be plenty of networking opportunities to be had. Social mixers and happy hours, along with a performance by Janelle Monáe, allow you to relax and get ready for the next dose of food for the brain. (Puma's friend Miss Katie Coombs of Coombs Marketing won backstage tickets to meet Janelle Monae - Katie - You GO Girl!!) Of course, like every year, you will also have an opportunity to visit HubSpot headquarters at Club INBOUND, where you can grab a drink or a snack while seeing for yourself how the HubSpot team works!

Last year, Puma Creative was a speaker at Inbound13 in the Partner Track teaching agencies about the Anatomy of the $120,000 Close Deck. We'll be attending again this year, and hope to see you at one of the events! If you are attending - tweet us @PumaCreative and let us know - we' d love to put a face with the name and say hello!
